We know that a complete drug rehab program must include an effective psychological treatment that provides to the patient the necessary tools to make significant and long lasting behavioral changes.
We help your teen overcome addiction with a therapeutic program that lasts from 30 days to 4 months (120 days). Our psychotherapy method is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is considered one of the best and most effective therapies in drug rehabilitation cases for their proved permanent benefits in behavior change.
| Having private sessions with a psychotherapist provides the patient with valuable, long-lasting tools to overcome addictive behavior, while promoting personal growth. During these sessions, the patient discovers parts of his/her personality and behavior that require adjustment or change in order to establish a healthier lifestyle free of drugs. Group sessions offer a great opportunity for patients to share with others the recovery process of drug rehab, while feeling the support and understanding from fellow residents that are going through this life-changing experience. A group setting also encourages the development of healthier interpersonal relationships, with a foundation of hope, respect (tolerance), confidentiality and support. These are some of the benefits that group therapy sessions offer:

| These workshops are a wonderful therapeutic tool that accelerates inner healing processes. Each experience at these workshops works on key aspects of recovery; they are designed to meet each group’s specific needs and therapy goals. Creative expression through art media enables the spontaneous and pure expression of aspects of the personality (mind and emotions) and helps restore inner balance, while opening channels for genuine expression.

In addition to art therapy, Bibliotherapy is part of our treatment program. This approach has been proven to be effective in the treatment of depression, and its benefits are long lasting (Smith, N.M., Floyd, M.R., Jamison, C., & Scogin, F. (1997). Bibliotherapy is a valuable ally in the healing process of drug addiction, and so we offer this resource to our patients throughout their recovery.

Once a week, our residents will participate in experiential workshops. These groups stimulate personal growth by applying their newly learned skills while interacting with other members of the residency. This experience helps in the building of a healthier personality, by learning and applying tools to successfully manage stress and anger, build self-esteem, learn relaxation techniques, and other important topics.
