Admissions Criteria
We understand the impact your teen’s behavior has on the entire family. Our Admissions Director will assist you in determining whether Sunset Bay Academy is an appropriate school for your teen and family. SBA is an academic-based drug and alcohol rehab treatment program specializing in therapeutic intervention and academic restoration. Students that we serve need grade repair, and credit recovery, college preparation, and college entrance.
Moreover, SBA provides therapy (individual and group) for teenagers and youth dealing with ADD or ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, bipolar disorder, depression and sadness, dual diagnosis – co-occuring issues, running away, unhealthy sexual behavior, adoption – divorce – family Issues, drug and alcohol abuse and addictions, online addiction, obesity – eating disorders, anger management issues, poor peer relationships – negative peer group defiance and rebellion, truancy/poor school performance, low motivation, impulsiveness and obsessive behaviors, low self esteem, self harm and self defeating behaviors, reactive attachment disorder
